NEW SERIES A SHARES AND SERIES B SHARES REGISTERED A total of 2,017,806 new series A shares and a total of 3,591,554 new series B shares of Stockmann plc (the "Company") have today on 27 June 2008 been entered in the Finnish Trade Register following the approval by the Company's Board of Directors on 26 June 2008 relating to the conversion of 438,618 series A shares into series B shares and subscriptions of 2,017,806 series A shares and 3,152,936 series B shares made in the Company's directed issue of 5,609,360 new ordinary shares (the "Directed Issue"). As a result of the registration of the conversion, the number of the Company's series A shares is reduced by 438,618 shares. Following the above registrations, the Company's share capital amounts to EUR 123,406,672 consisting of 61,703,336 shares of which a total of 26,582,049 are series A shares and a total of 35,121,287 are series B shares.
