Tele2 divests Tele2 Poland to Netia for approximately SEK 300 million


Stockholm - Tele2 AB, ("Tele2"), (Stockholm Stock Exchange: TEL2 A
and TEL2 B), today announced that it has sold its Polish operation to
Netia. Netia will pay in cash approximately SEK 300 million on a debt
and cash free basis. Completion is expected following approval from
the relevant regulatory authorities.

At the end of March 2008, Tele2 Poland had approximately  15,000
fixed broadband customers and 716,000 fixed telephony customers.
Tele2 Poland affected Tele2's net sales in 2007 by SEK 952 million
and EBITDA by SEK 43 million.
The transaction will have no effect on the result.
