Release of a Voting Rights announcement

According to § 21 sec. 1 WpHG Mr Stephan Perthel, Cologne, informed us that
his rights to vote in our company on June 2, 2008, have overrun the levels
of 3 %, 5 % and 10 % and have reached 14,81 % (1.172.893 voting rights) at
this day. Therefrom 14,81 % (1.172.893 voting rights) are attributed to Mr
Perthel according to § 22 sec. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG. Voting rights are
attributed by the following shareholders having a share of voting rights in
Deutsche REIT AG of 3% or more:
