LOS ANGELES, July 8, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) was selected by the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans (NCHV) to receive its Corporate Partner Award. The company was recognized for its support in helping NCHV provide information and counseling to homeless and at-risk veterans, and assisting community-based providers build their capacity to serve homeless veterans.

The company was recognized at NCHV's Annual Award Banquet in Washington, D.C., on June 24.

The National Coalition for Homeless Veterans is the resource and technical assistance center for a national network of community-based service providers and local, state and federal agencies that provide emergency and supportive housing, food, health services, job training and placement assistance, legal aid and case management support for hundreds of thousands of homeless veterans each year.
