OnVista AG considers acquisition of the online broker OnVista Bank

08.07.2008 – OnVista AG has entered into discussions with Boursorama S.A.
regarding the purchase of the assets of the online broker OnVista Bank
(formerly Fimatex). In this context, OnVista currently prepares for a
comprehensive examination of the economic and legal conditions (due
diligence) of OnVista Bank. In addition, OnVista will have the relevant
assets valuated by an independent accounting firm. The potential
acquisition of the business of OnVista Bank would lay the foundation for a
closer co-operation between the finance portal business (www.onvista.de and
Tradingbird) and the brokerage-business.

Neither Boursorama nor OnVista have as yet taken any final decisions with
regard to the transaction. At OnVista, the decision will in particular
depend on the outcome of the due diligence process and the valuation.

OnVista Bank is the German branch office of Boursorama S.A., which – as the
majority shareholder – holds more than 82% of OnVista AG’s capital stock.
It has operated under the brand name OnVista Bank since mid May.
