Atlas Copco's Q2 report and conference call on July 18

Stockholm, July 8, 2008: Atlas Copco will publish its Q2 results on Friday, July
18 at approximately 12:00 PM CEST. A conference call and simultaneous
presentation will be held at 3:00 PM CEST / 9:00 AM EDT.

The presentation will be held at Operaterassen, Stockholm, Sweden.

Participating from Atlas Copco will be Gunnar Brock, President and CEO, and Hans
Ola Meyer, CFO. The meeting will begin with a short presentation of the report
followed by a question and answer session.

The presentation will be broadcasted live on the Internet. Please see our
