Release of a Voting Rights announcement

By an oversight, the notification dated 7 July 2008 did not contain the
registered office and country of the company obligated to notify. These are
now given here:
Artio Global Holdings LLC, New York, USA, informed us on 3 Juli 2008
pursuant to sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG that on 27 June 2008 their percentage
holding of the voting rights in Deutsche Beteiligungs AG, Kleine Wiesenau
1, 60323 Frankfurt am Main, Germany, exceeded the threshold of 3% and
amounted to 3.50% (equivalent to 478688 voting rights) in relation to the
total number of voting rights of Deutsche Beteiligungs AG.
The voting rights in the amount of 3.50% (equivalent to 478688 voting
rights) are entirely attributable to Artio Global Holdings LLC, New York,
USA, pursuant to sec. 22 para. 1 sentence 1 no. 6 WpHG in connection with
sec. 22 para. 1 sentence 2 WpHG.
