Global leader in IT consulting and outsourcing selects Utimaco´s SafeGuard
Enterprise as group-wide security standard

Oberursel, 18th July 2008 / One of the global leaders in IT consulting and
outsourcing has selected for Utimaco´s SafeGuard Enterprise as group-wide
security standard for device encryption. The initial sizable order has
already been placed in Asia through a major partner of Utimaco in the first
quarter (July to September 2008) of the current FY 2008/2009 (July 2008 to
June 2009). The new security solution will be deployed as the security
standard on all new notebooks of the company to protect the stored data
against unauthorized access.

With a twenty-five year history of providing best-in-class enterprise
solutions for data protection, Utimaco launched its new product generation
for information protection and control in March 2007. The recent release of
SafeGuard Enterprise version 5.3 offers the only solution on the market
that combines the critical port and device control, device encryption,
secure data exchange and the integration of third party encryption to a
security suite with central management.

SafeGuard Enterprise license sales has already contributed 21.5% to Utimaco
Data Protection division license revenues in the first nine months (July
2007 to March 2008) of its previous fiscal year 2007/2008 (July 2007 to
June 2008). The decision of a global leader in IT consulting and
outsourcing to select SafeGuard Enterprise as group-wide security standard
is a further confirmation of Utimaco´s product strategy to offer a unique
security suite with a multi-layered security architecture centered on
industry-leading encryption and Data Leakage Prevention (DLP) technologies.
