On July 17, 2008, Universal-Investment-Gesellschaft mbH, Frankfurt am Main,
Germany has informed us according to article 21 sec. 1 and article 22 sec.
1 sent. 1 no. 6  of the WpHG that via shares its Voting Rights on Silicon
Sensor International AG, Berlin, Germany, ISIN: DE0007201907, have fallen
below the 3 % limit of the Voting Rights on July 15, 2008 and amount to
1.73 % (this corresponds to 67,440 Voting Rights) on this day.

1.73 % of the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 67,440 Voting Rights) are
to be attributed to Universal-Investment-Gesellschaft mbH in accordance
with article 22 sec. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 of the WpHG.
