Peab Industri acquires transportation and contractors´ machinery services
company with a turn-over of 270 MSEK

Peab Industri has signed an agreement to acquire UMF Entreprenad AB with
business within transportation and machinery contractors´ services for the
construction and civil engineering market in the west of Sweden.

UMF Entreprenad had a turn-over 2007 of approximately SEK 270 million and has
about 10 employees. The company will be reported within Business Area Services.

“Through the acquisition of UMF Entreprenad we will expand our transportation
and machinery contractors´ services business into a new regional market, in
addition to the markets in Skåne and Norrland”, says K-G Karlsson, deputy CEO of
Peab Industri AB. “This strengthens our local presence and the possibility to
create business for our other Business Areas”, says Karlsson.

The acquisition is subject to an approval from the Swedish Competition Authority
(Konkurrensverket).
