Henrik Östberg appointed SVP Human Resources and Sustainability for Boliden

Henrik Östberg, has been appointed Senior Vice President Human Resources and
Sustainability for Boliden, effective August 4. Through this newly-created
function Boliden is taking a firmer grip on the work with HR, environmental and
social matters. 

Henrik Östberg's most recent position was at Sapa where he was Group Vice
President Corporate Strategy & Human Resources. Henrik has previously worked at
Booz Allen Hamilton and McKinsey & Co where he was responsible for change
management and organisational design. 

In his new position Henrik will be focusing on strategical matters concerning
HR, organisational and other internal processes. Henrik will be a member of
Boliden's Management Group and report to Lennart Evrell, President and CEO.
