Release of a Voting Rights announcement

As of July 03, 2008, Artio Global Holdings LLC, New York, USA, informed us
pursuant to sec. 21. para 1 WpHG that on June 27, 2008 the percentage
holding of voting rights in MediClin AG, Frankfurt, Germany, exceeded the
threshold of 3% and 5% and amounted to 5.82% (equivalent to 1,832,860
voting rights) at that day in relation to the total number of voting
rights.

Furthermore, we were informed that the voting rights in the amount of 5.82%
(equivalent to 1,832,860 voting rights) are entirely attributable to Artio
Global Holdings LLC, New York, USA, pursuant to sec. 22 para.1 sentence 1
no. 6 WpHG in connection with sec. 22 para. 1 sentence 2 WpHG.

The voting rights of the following shareholder whose voting rights in
MediClin AG amount to 3% or more, among others, are entirely attributable:
Julius Baer International Equity Fund, New York, USA.
