QPR SOFTWARE PLC TO ACQUIRE ITS OWN SHARES

QPR Software Plc´s Board of Directors has today decided, according to
the authorization granted by the Annual General Meeting on March 12, 2008 to
acquire its own shares. According to the authorization the company may acquire
own shares in order to strengthen the company's capital structure, to be used
as payment in corporate acquisitions or when the company acquires assets
related to its business and as part of the company's incentive programs in a
manner and to the extent decided by the Board of Directors, and to be
transferred for other purposes or to be cancelled. The authorization granted by
the Annual General Meeting is in force until the next Annual Shareholders'
Meeting. 

The acquisition of own shares will start at the earliest on 31 July, 2008.
The shares will be acquired through public trading on the Helsinki
Stock Exchange at the market price prevailing at the time of
acquisition. According to the decision by the Board of Directors the
company may acquire a maximum of 250,000 own shares.
