Copenhagen, 25 July 2008

Stock exchange announcement no 6/2008

Scandinavian Private Equity A/S (SPEAS) has made an investment
commitment of NOK 100 million to the private equity fund Herkules
Private Equity Fund III.

Herkules Capital (formerly FERD Equity Partners) is a Norwegian
private equity manager based in Oslo. Herkules Capital was
established in 2004 and has since the establishment managed two
Norwegian/Nordic funds with total commitments of more than NOK 6
billion.

Herkules Private Equity Fund III is not a sector specific fund, but
follows some industries with special interest including oil services,
healthcare, consumer, trade/retail, services and telecom. Herkules
Private Equity Fund III will seek to avoid asset intensive and
cyclical industries. The geographical focus of the fund is Norway/the
Nordic region and the majority of the businesses are expected to have
an enterprise value of between NOK 250-2.500 million.

Including the investment commitment to Herkules Private Equity Fund
III, SPEAS has made total investment commitments of approximately DKK
880 million to private equity funds. Besides the investment
commitment to Herkules Private Equity Fund III, SPEAS has made
investment commitments to EQT V, Industri Kapital 2007, Litorina
Kapital III and Apax Europe VII.

The investment commitment to Herkules Private Equity Fund III,
demonstrates that SPEAS, due to its investment strategy and
co-operation with the management company, Scandinavian Private Equity
Partners, is still being well received by attractive private equity
funds.
