Deutsche Bank as the Issuer of Novatek DRs announced today that the day of record for a proposed dividend was 24 July 2008, with the rate to be announced in the future. The London Stock Exchange declared that Novatek DRs would trade ex-dividend on the International Order Book today, Monday 28 July 2008.
Exchange Notice 13/08 detailed the method proposed to identify whether or not a recalculation should be made.
The VWAP of the Novatek DR on the 25 July 2008 was $75.3802 as compared to the VWAP on 28 July 2008 which was $75.5792. As such it can be confirmed that no recalculation of options and futures series will take place.
