Release of a Voting Rights announcement

On July 25, 2008, Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft, Frankfurt am Main,
Germany, informed us in accordance with Art. 21 par. 1 WpHG, that its share
of the voting rights in ThyssenKrupp AG, Duisburg and Essen, Germany, (ISIN
DE0007500001), have fallen below the 3% threshold on July 24, 2008, and now
amount to 1.79% (which equates to 9,200,258 voting rights). 1.75% of these
voting rights (which equates to 9,000,000 voting rights) are to be
attributed to Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft in accordance with Art. 22
par. 1 sentence 1 no. 1 WpHG.
