itelligence AG expects 2008 to be best fiscal year in company history
• Half-year revenues rise to MEUR 101.8
• Orders on hand increase by 30.1% to MEUR 160.4

• Dividends indicated for first time

Bielefeld, July 30, 2008 – The 2008 half-yearly figures of itelligence AG
confirm the company’s positive business development. During the first half
of the year, revenues rose by 14.9% to MEUR 101.8, while in the first six
months of the previous year revenues were MEUR 88.6. itelligence is thus
staying on the course for growth targets. Against the equivalent quarter of
the previous year, itelligence posted a revenues upturn of 21.7%, achieving
MEUR 53.9 in the second quarter of 2008 (Q2 2007: MEUR 44.3). itelligence
AG is also very pleased with its orders on hand, which increased by 30.1%
year-on-year (MEUR 123.3) and now stands at MEUR 160.4.

Herbert Vogel, CEO of itelligence AG, says: 'Considering the current
figures, we are by now expecting that we will achieve the best result in
the history of our company in 2008. That applies to both revenue and income
targets. All of our business areas will contribute significantly to this
result.'

At the half year, revenues in all business areas increased, with the
License business showing the biggest rise with +78.8%. The Outsourcing &
Services and Consulting areas increased by +12.6% and +6.8% year-on-year.
Germany/Austria posted the largest rise among the segments. It showed a
change from the previous year’s period of +26.0%, corresponding to revenues
of MEUR 52.8 (previous year: MEUR 41.9). Revenues in the Western Europe
segment rose by +24.8% to MEUR 18.1; the Eastern Europe segment achieved a
rise of +14.3% with MEUR 8.0. The USA segment lost revenues at a rate of
-9.8%, primarily because of the weak dollar, coming in at MEUR 21.1. After
adjustment for currency translation effects, the USA segment achieved
growth of +3.9%.

Earnings figures continue to improve

EBIT of the first half year of 2008 increased over the previous year by
22.9% to MEUR 5.9 (previous year: MEUR 4.8), resulting in an EBIT margin of
5.8% compared to 5.4% in the first half of 2007. In the second quarter
alone, the EBIT nearly doubled, from MEUR 2.2 to MEUR 4.3. This is
equivalent to a Q2 2008 EBIT margin of 8.1%, considerably up on the
comparable figure of the previous year of 4.9%. With the first six months
past, the net profit for the period in accordance with IFRSs totals MEUR
4.3, or MEUR 1.5 more than the result of the first half of 2007 (MEUR 2.8).
Earnings per share (basic) show a value of EUR 0.18, up from EUR 0.13 the
year before.

With regard to this very positive growth after the first half of the year,
the Management Board considers its forecast for 2008 as a whole as secure.
The company expects revenues of between MEUR 210 and MEUR 214 and a
corresponding EBIT margin of 6.2% to 6.4%. The Management Board thus
confirms the forecasts made and expects to achieve the upper range of the
guidance for the year as a whole.

'At MEUR 160.4, itelligence AG orders on hand continue to show a positive
trend,' says Norbert Rotter, CFO of itelligence AG. 'In view of this solid
development, we are expecting further strong business growth for 2008 as a
whole. For this reason, we are planning to pay a dividend to our
shareholders for the first time for fiscal year 2008.'
