Superior Uniform Group Declares Regular Quarterly Cash Dividend and Increases Stock Repurchase Authorization to 1,000,000 shares


SEMINOLE, Fla., Aug. 1, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Gerald M. Benstock, Chairman of the Board of Superior Uniform Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:SGC), manufacturer of uniforms, career apparel and accessories, today announced that the Board of Directors had declared a quarterly dividend of $.135 per share, payable August 25, 2008, to shareholders of record August 13, 2008.

The previous authorization of 750,000 shares had approximately 125,000 shares remaining.
