Windell Stout Joins Canyon Acres' Board of Directors

ANAHEIM HILLS, Calif., Aug. 4, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Canyon Acres Children and Family services, a charity organization committed to providing homes, care, treatment and supportive services for abused, neglected and emotionally troubled children and their families, today announced that Windell Stout has joined its board of directors. Stout is CEO of California Sunset Escrow and a renowned philanthropist. He has been actively committed to Canyon Acres for the past several years and is essential to numerous fund-raising efforts to support the agency.

"We are honored to have Windell join our board," said Clete Menke, executive director of Canyon Acres. "He brings a wealth of insight into the Orange County philanthropic community, a keen business mind and most important -- a desire to help our children. Windell will be a tremendous asset as Canyon Acres continues to evolve for the benefit of the children."

Stout is known for his charity efforts throughout Orange County as a board member and current president of philanthropic group I Padrini d'Antonello. He is also a member of CHP 11-99 Foundation, a charitable organization that provides benefits and scholarships to California Highway Patrol family members and he provides support to the local church he and his family attend. I Padrini d'Antonello has hosted Canyon Acres' "Evening Under the Stars" event for the past two years and will hold its third annual event this fall at Antonello Ristorante.

"With my experience in Orange County, I believe Canyon Acres to be one of the premier children's services agencies in the county and I am excited to be a part of that to change children's lives one at a time," said Stout. "The agency is in an exciting phase of evolution and I look forward to helping guide it to further success."
