- Takeover enables expansion of business activities to Northern Europe

Starnberg, August 6, 2008 - The internationally operating Rohé Group, a
100% subsidiary of ARQUES Industries AG (ISIN DE0005156004), has taken over
the German gas station supplier, Hünert Tanktechnik GmbH, Gödenstorf
(Schleswig-Holstein). Hünert Tanktechnik primarily operates in Northern and
East Germany and generated revenues of approximately EUR 12 million in
2007. By means of this strategic takeover, the Rohé Group that has been
acquired by ARQUES in June 2007 expands its activities in Germany and
increases its consolidated revenues by approximately 10%. Regulatory
approval is pending.

Hünert Tanktechnik GmbH with headquarters in Gödenstorf,
Schleswig-Holstein, is a service provider specialising in the assembly and
maintenance of gas stations and facilities for clients’ own consumption and
ranks among the top 5 suppliers in this segment in Germany. Founded in
1976, the company has six facilities in Northern and East Germany and
generated revenues to the value of EUR 12 million in 2007 with
approximately 150 employees.

Rohé will continue both the service agreements of Hünert Tanktechnik taken
over within the context of the transaction as well as the auxiliary
business.

'In Hünert Tanktechnik, Rohé has taken over one of the leading and most
renowned German gas station service providers. This improves the Rohé
Group’s market position in Germany and places Rohé in a position to service
the markets in Northern Europe', said Jan Satek, managing director of the
Rohé Group.

Rohé is a leading, internationally operating service provider for gas
stations and car washes. The group of companies specialises in the
construction, installation, and maintenance of hydraulic, electric, and
electronic systems at gas stations and car washes. Rohé offers its services
