JPMorgan Chase Bank informed us on 5 August 2008 about a notification of
voting rights according to § 21 sub-section 1 Securities Trading Act (WpHG)

On behalf of JPMorgan Asset Management (UK) Limited, London, UK, we
announce pursuant to section 21 sub-section 1 WpHG that on 31st July 2008
JPMorgan Asset Management (UK) Limited has exceeded the threshold of 5 % of
the voting rights of Phoenix Solar AG, Hirschbergstrasse 8, 85254
Sulzemoos, Germany, and now amounts to 5.22 % (348,704 shares) in relation
to all shares of the respective voting shares. All voting rights are
attributed pursuant to section 22 sub-section 1 sentence 1 no. 6 WpHG.

we announce pursuant to section 21 sub-section 1 WpHG that on 31st July
2008 JPMorgan Asset Management (UK) Limited has exceeded the threshold of 5
