Hexagon strengthens its presence in India

Hexagon announces the inauguration of a new assembly and manufacturing facility
in Noida, India. In the following weeks Hexagon will start the delivery of
locally assembled coordinate measuring machines to Indian customers. The
facility will gradually cover the full range of metrology products including
articulated arms.

Hexagon's subsidiary Hexagon Metrology India is a leading supplier of precision
metrology products to customers throughout the Indian subcontinent. In addition
to locally produced measurement systems, the company supplies other Hexagon
coordinate measuring machine brands including Leitz, DEA, Brown & Sharpe and the
PC-DMIS software. ROMER portable measuring arms and Leica Geosystems measuring
