DEARBORN, MI--(Marketwire - August 12, 2008) - Palm Palace Restaurants, Inc., based here, which recently announced plans to open 5-8 Palm Palace Restaurants in Southeastern Michigan plus units in Ohio and Chicago announced agreements with a variety of key national and local suppliers including the Pepsi Bottling Group, which will be the primary beverage supplier to the new Mediterranean Restaurant chain.

Clinton J. Hamet, Palm Palace chief operating officer, a native of Trenton, MI and restaurant industry veteran who has served with Marco's Franchising, LLC in Toledo, OH, A&W Restaurants and Long John Silver's Restaurants, and as president of Toramina Pizza in Metro Detroit, announced agreements for Palm Palace with:

--  ADT, restaurant security
--  ADP for accounting services
--  Advance Restaurant Supply, Dearborn, MI
--  Creao Design & Printing, Berkley, MI, creative marketing team
--  Gordon Food Service, food distribution
--  PR Services, Inc, an Ann Arbor, MI public relations and marketing
    communications firm, with experience at the international and local level
    in food and restaurant development.
--  Sysco, food distribution
--  Valassis Sales & Marketing and Redplum.com, for traditional and online
    advertising and future direct mail

The first Palm Palace located at 15750 Hall Road, Clinton Township, MI, opened on July 30 with proceeds being donated for the children at Children's Hospital of Michigan. A VIP & Media Reception to preview the new restaurant will be held 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm, Wed., August 13.

According to Hamet, each location will hire up to 50 full and part time employees.
