Based on decades of scientific studies detailing numerous health benefits, food fortification has become an increasingly important issue to consumers. Hence, the awareness around Choline is growing. Choline occurs naturally in many foods, and like vitamins, more and more consumer food manufacturers are fortifying with choline. The Memor-C website is designed to provide fundamental and scientific-related information on Choline, which includes a section on scientific related papers. The site also lists the many food applications that could be fortified with Choline.
Choline is an essential nutrient. It is important for the healthy structure and function of your body. Choline was the first ever ingredient to receive a nutrient content claim under the FDA Modernization Act (1997).
