Author Launches Give Big Book Tour in LA to Benefit Children Dying Alone in American Hospitals

ROANOKE, Va., Aug. 12, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Teresa Holler, author of Holler for Your Health, a book that identifies harmful chemicals hidden in common products, founded the Give Big Book Tour to raise money for families in crisis. She has partnered with the California-based Andre Sobel River of Life Foundation, which provides emergency assistance to destitute mothers so they may remain at their dying child's bedside.

Teresa will donate $10 of each book sold during her Los Angeles book launch tour August 23-September 1st. She will also donate $2.50 from every book sold directly through her website, www.holler4health.com.

Teresa wrote Holler for Your Health to arm parents with the information they need to protect children from cancer, autism and other potentially devastating illnesses because the prevention methods are largely unknown by the medical community. She believes the Andre Sobel River of Life Foundation is a perfect match for the book's earnings because it helps children who are suffering from the same conditions she intends to prevent. In her words, "It is an injustice that these children are dying in the first place; how can I not help?"

Simply purchasing a copy of the book will protect the reader's health while helping others. Regarding Holler for Your Health (240 pp, tpb, $22.50), New York Times best-selling author, Mark Hyman, MD, believes, "If there is one book you need to read to learn how toxins are making us sick and what to do about it, this is it."

Teresa Holler is a Physician Assistant and a former Assistant Professor of Medicine. She has a Masters Degree in Primary Care Medicine and has completed Doctoral coursework in Medical Writing and Environmental Health. She is also the author of "Cardiology Essentials" (Jones and Bartlett, 2007). She is a professional speaker who has been endorsed by the President of the National Speakers Association.

Teresa is actively booking live events and media interviews during her Los Angeles tour because the more she speaks, the more money she raises for the children.
