Munich, 12 August 2008

On 2 June 2008 the holding company PlasmaSelect AG with seat in Munich
acquired 30% of shares, 50.1% of voting rights and a 20.1% share option of
Aquaworx AG.

Based on a market study conducted by Frost & Sullivan forecasting
significant sales potential for Aquaworx and under consideration of all
currently known risks, auditors Hammer & Brahms GmbH submitted a subjective
valua-tion for the acquisition far in excess of its actual price.

Part of the acquisition price is to be covered by a new share issue. Today,
auditors FPS Habersetzer Kessler und Kollegen GmbH, appointed by the court
as part of the capital increase process, confirmed the objective accuracy
of the acquisition price and substantiated the valuation of the investment,
so that the statutory requirements for the capital increase are now
fulfilled. The increase was passed by the Managing and Supervisory Boards.
During the next few days, PlasmaSelect AG will thus launch the capital
increase of EUR 7,250,000 from authorized capi-tal from EUR 16,921,937 to
EUR 24,171,937 in the form of a new share issue excluding shareholders’
subscrip-tion rights, and will submit registration of the increase to the
Commercial Register.
