AMANDA CAPITAL PLC STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE August 13, 2008 AMANDA CAPITAL TO REPURCHASE ITS OWN SHARES Amanda Capital Plc's Board of Directors has today decided, on basis of the authorisation granted by the Annual General Meeting, to repurchase Amanda's shares. According to the authorisation the company may acquire shares for the purposes of developing the structure of the company's equity, annulling them, using the shares according the personnel incentive plans or for financing the acquisition of business assets, or in any other case where the Board of Directors considers that this would be a beneficial way to use liquid assets. The authorisation also covers the transfer of shares acquired by the company and their use for the purposes specified above, the manner and price subject to separate decision by the Board of Directors. The share repurchases will start at the earliest on August 20, 2008. The shares will be acquired through public trading on the OMX Nordic Exchange Helsinki at the market price prevailing at the time of repurchase. According to the decision by the Annual General Meeting the company may acquire maximum of 2 200 000 own shares.
