HUHTAMÄKI OYJ STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 14.8.2008 AT 12.30 Huhtamäki Oyj starts co-operation negotiations at the rigid packaging production unit in Hämeenlinna in order to improve the profitability of the unit. Currently the plant employs some 700 people. The negotiations may lead to a reduction of some 60 people. The negotiations will be carried out in compliance with the Co-operation Act. Cost base improvements are pursued by rationalizing operations as well as changing operating models and organization structure.
