Deutsche Steinzeug Cremer & Breuer AG expects profit decline in the second
half of the business year
On the basis of the current knowledge, the budgeted sales and turnover on
an annual basis will not be realized as a result of the weak situation in
our main sales market Germany and in all Western European countries as well
as in the USA. As a consequence, the corresponding necessary capacity
adjustments will have additional negative effects on the result. Thus, it
is to be expected that the budgeted EBITDA result at previous years level
will not be achieved. Due to the uncertain development of the market in the
second half-year and the fact that the extent of countermeasures has not
been determined yet, it is currently not possible to give a solid forecast
of the result.
