Riga Stock Exchange Management Board on its meeting of August 13, 2008, issued a warning to AS „VEF”. The RSE Listing and Disclosure rules stipulate that RSE may issue a warning to an issuer on the occasions when it breaches terms and stipulations of RSE Listing and Disclosure rules. On August 1, 2008 AS „VEF” has published results of share capital increase that ended in July 15, 2008. April 18, 2008 AGM resolved to increase share capital of AS „VEF”. With the resolutions company published priority rights statement for shareholders to acquire newly issued company shares by the June 15, 2008, but subscription to shares continued for another month until July 15. Company have failed to comply with the RSE rules that stipulate issuers' obligation immediately after approval in general meeting, publish Terms and conditions of the share capital increase.
