NCC to build about 135 apartments for Uppsalahem

NCC Construction has been commissioned to build about 135 apartments at the
Mjölnaren property block in Uppsala. The customer is Uppsalahem AB and the
project will be implemented on a partnering basis. The order value is estimated
at approximately SEK 160 million. The partnering process and preparations for
the start of construction, which is expected to be in January 2009, will now
commence.

During the preparation phase, which will extend up to November 2008, NCC and
Uppsalahem will formulate the final parameters for the project. This work will
include an agreement concerning a contractual target price for the project.
Following this initial phase, the actual construction work will continue until
summer 2011.

The first tenants are expected to move in during the autumn 2010. At most, about
60 people will be employed in the project.

- Mjölnaren is the third project that we will implement in cooperation with
Uppsalahem under the partnering format. We are delighted with how this
cooperation format is working,” says Mikael Vikholm, Business Manager at NCC
Construction's Stockholm/Mälardalen region.

Partnering is a structured cooperation format applied in the construction
industry, whereby the developer, consultants and contractors jointly resolve
construction assignments through open and trusting cooperation in which each
party contributes complementary professional knowledge throughout all stages of
the project.

The contract is expected to be registered among orders during the fourth quarter
of 2008.
