Magic Arts & Entertainment Announces Partnership With Rosemont Theatre for Rosemont Broadway Show Series


STUDIO CITY, Calif., Aug. 18, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Magic Arts & Entertainment, a subsidiary of Tix Corporation (Nasdaq:TIXC), today announced its partnership with the Rosemont Theatre in Rosemont, IL to present the upcoming Rosemont Theatre Broadway Series.

Single tickets are available now for all shows in the season, and special custom-made series packages can be designed with special savings offered when tickets to three or more shows are purchased. The season is filled with family-friendly favorites, Tony-Award winners and critically-acclaimed musicals. The shows included in the season are:


 Mannheim Steamroller, December 26th and 27th, 2008
 Movin' Out, February 20th through February 22nd, 2009
 Riverdance, March 17th through March 22nd, 2009
 Jesus Christ Superstar starring Ted Neeley, April 30th through
  May 2nd, 2009

As additional options, The Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the Rockettes is available as part of the special-series package. The show runs November 20th through December 7th, 2008. Also included as part of the series is An Evening of Classic Lily Tomlin on November 1, 2008. And guests get to see Two Teen Idols One Stage -- One Night when Davy Jones and David Cassidy perform on Saturday, March 28, 2009. All three engagements are also on sale now as part of the Broadway series.
