Acquisition of the IP rights to the People Planner

OMX Nordic Exchange Copenhagen
Announcement no. 16/2008

Acquisition of the IP rights to the People Planner

Copenhagen, August 22, 2008: Maconomy A/S today signed the final deal with
Marstrand Innovation A/S for the acquisition of the Intellectual Property (IP)
rights to the Maconomy People Planner product (see stock exchange announcement
from July 7, 2008 on the signing of a preliminary deal with Marstrand
Innovation A/S).

The acquisition of Maconomy People Planner gives Maconomy full control of the
strategically important product, which addresses one of the largest challenges
in the market - optimising resource utilisation and increase profitability.

Other than the purchase of IP rights, the deal includes perennial joint
development efforts on the solution, which can both be an integrated part of
Maconomy's product portfolio and sold as a standalone solution with optional
integration with other ERP systems.

Maconomy considers People Planner one of the cornerstones in Maconomy's future
growth and expansion.

The purchase of the IP rights to Maconomy People Planner does not change
Maconomy's financial expectations for 2008, but the expense structure will be
affected by lower royalty fee payments offset by higher financing expenses.
