About the Author
Joe Lantz was born in Great Falls, Montana, on the 14th of November, 1938. His parents lived in the mountainous area about thirty miles south along the Missouri River, known as Cascade, the home of actor Gary Cooper. His parents worked on various cattle ranches until Joe was ready to begin his schooling. They moved into the city of Cascade for one year, and then migrated north to Choteau, Montana, of author A.B. Guthrie Jr. fame. The study for this book began in 1993 and was finally finished in 2006 after many hours of reading, study, and writing of this, his first book, "My Yacad".
