IT - Reminder: SAXESS 5.0.1, Market Wide Acceptance Test, Thursday September 4, 2008 (68/08)

SAXESS release 5.0.1 will be launched on Monday, September 29, 2008 on all NOREX Exchanges. In order to prepare for the production launch, the NOREX Exchanges will run a Market Wide Acceptance Test (MWAT) on 

Thursday, September 4, at 18:00- approx 20:30 CET, see attached document "NOREX MWAT Submarket Schedules 5.0.1" for detailed schedule. 

(For some markets, the test will be run at a different time. The affected members will be informed seperately.) 

All NOREX Exchanges, which include OMX Nordic Exchange Stockholm (SSE), OMX Nordic Exchange Helsinki (HSE), Oslo Børs (OB), OMX Nordic Exchange Copenhagen (CSE), OMX Nordic Exchange Iceland (ICE), Tallinn Stock Exchange (TSE), Riga Stock Exchange (RSE) and Vilnius Stock Exchange (VSE), will take part in the MWAT. 

The NOREX Exchanges invite all members, vendors and ISVs to participate in the MWAT. 

Please note that participation in the test is mandatory for all members of NOREX exchanges. 

We strongly recommend that you perform the suggested test cases (see attached document "NOREX MWAT Test Cases 5.0.1") in combination with your internal test cases, in order to verify that your system(s) will work as expected with the new SAXESS release. All systems connecting to SAXESS must comply with version 2.57 of the XTP protocol. 

Please note the following points where your cooperation is required: 
* You should register for the tests before Friday, August 29. See details for registrations below and in the attached IT-notice PDF. 
* The MWAT will be run on Thursday, September 4, starting at 18:00 until approx 20:30 CET. Participation in the test is mandatory for all members. 
* Following the test, you are expected to fill in a test report no later than Friday, September 5, at 14:00 CET. See details for reporting below and in the attached IT-notice PDF.
