AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 28, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- North American Energy Resources, Inc. (OTCBB:NAEN) announces that it has drilled the first two wells of a six well package on leases located in Washington County, Oklahoma. Both wells were drilled into the Mississippi formation at depths of approximately 1,500 feet. Logs indicate both oil and gas shows from several zones beginning at depths as shallow as 650 feet.
The Company anticipates completing the two wells within the next 30 days after its consultants have determined which zones to complete.
