Bang & Olufsen's Board of Directors recommend a change of voting procedures to the Board and the election of Rolf Eriksen, the CEO of H&M to the Board


In connection with Bang & Olufsen a/s' Annual General Meeting on Friday 26
September 2008, the company's Board of Directors will propose that the Articles
relating to elections to the Board of Directors be changed so that all board
members are up for election every year. 

At the same time, the Board of Directors propose that Rolf Eriksen, the CEO of
H&M Hennes & Mauritz AB, be elected to the Board. Rolf Eriksen has worked for
the H&M Group for the past 22 years, the past eight as CEO. 

“Rolf Eriksen is responsible for a group with approx. 70,000 employees, 1,500
shops across the world and a gross turnover last year of SEK 92 billion. On
this basis, the Board of Directors of Bang & Olufsen is proposing that he be
elected to the Board,” says Bang & Olufsen's Chairman Jørgen Worning. 

At Bang & Olufsen's AGM on Friday 26 September, the Board of Directors is also
recommending the re-election of the current board with the exception of Preben
Damgaard Nielsen, who has made his seat on the board available.
