A Great Tale of Courage, Hope and Belief! -- New Book Tells Story of a Young Sick Girl and Her Amazing New Friend

PALO ALTO, Calif., Sept. 5, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- No matter how troubled your life could get, courage, hope, belief, and friendship can still exist and make an impact on your life. And when you least expect it, miracles can still happen and change you forever. These are the themes that await readers in author Richard Aaron Flores' compelling new book Tony Pail: A Short Story.

Tony Pail tells the struggle of Rebecca, a young girl who has suffered illness early in her life and presently continues to live in isolation as required by her doctors. Because of her isolation, Rebecca is sad, lonely, and growing frustrated having to deal with countless treatments and experiments. One day however, she encounters a mysterious horse named Tony Pail, which seemed able to talk with her. With Tony, she develops a bond of communication and friendship, and soon enough her life begins to sprout with happiness -- her isolation is finally fading, her soul is healing, and for the first time she begins to consider the meaning of life and death.

But Rebecca's doctors are not optimistic. They think Rebecca has lost her grip on reality and that her friend Tony is nothing more than just an imaginative figure providing her an escape from her pain and isolation. Even so, Rebecca follows Tony's encouragement for her to trust her feelings and together their friendship grows stronger and more vibrant. But is it all real? Only time can tell.

Richly layered, inspiring, and imaginative, Tony Pail greatly expresses to the reader its own brand of courage, hope, belief, and friendship. In essence, the book is a great reminder for people to open their hearts to new experiences and to trust our own feelings. Richard Aaron Flores' book is bound to attract a wide range of readers and even touch their hearts. Tony Pail: A Short Story is now available at your local bookstores and libraries today.
