SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 8, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- City National Bank, California's Premier Private and Business Bank(r), announced that it will open a new San Francisco banking office located in the heart of the city's financial district at 120 Montgomery Street in downtown San Francisco. The 3,000-square-foot branch is scheduled to open late in the first quarter of 2009.
The San Francisco Banking Office will be City National's second branch in downtown San Francisco. The other branch -- called San Francisco Financial Center -- is located at 150 California Street, where the bank also has its full-service San Francisco Regional Banking Center. It will bring to 53 the number of City National banking offices operating in California.

The new facility, which begins construction later this year, will be designed to meet Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) specifications.
The San Francisco Banking Office will offer a full range of financial services and will feature an exterior ATM vestibule as well as a night depository. It will have signage facing both Sutter and Montgomery streets.
