New Asia Gold Feels That Gold Reserves May be Underevaluated

BOCA RATON, Fla., Sept. 9, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- New Asia Gold Corp. (Pink Sheets:NWAG) wishes to announce that there is a possibility that its current estimate of proven reserves may be underestimated. During previous drilling programs there were poor water returns when drilling the vughy silica. The vughy silica contains fine high grade flakes of gold. This poor return of water prevented sludge sampling and it is suspected that there may have been a loss of fine gold from the vughs causing underevaluation of the proven reserves. Drilling techniques in the new drilling programs have been modified to make sure that the loss of the fine grain gold will not occur again. The modified recovery techniques combined with the infill drilling program will likely result in a significant increase in gold reserves.

New Asia Gold Corp. trades in the United States on the NQB Pink Sheets under the symbol "NWAG." For further information, please contact Nancy Goldman at (516) 962 4139 or at www.newasiagold.com.
