Formation of International Envelope Coalition Provides Opportunities for Worldwide Service to Envelope and Packaging Customers, Announces Tension Envelope


KANSAS CITY, Mo., Sept. 12, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tension Envelope Corporation announces that it has joined with five other worldwide leaders in the envelope industry to form a strategic alliance called the International Envelope Coalition. Its purpose is to enhance the products and services available to the global marketplace.

The alliance includes more than 30 manufacturing plants, and covers five continents, North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia. The companies are:



 * Tension Envelope Corporation operates in the USA (with subsidiaries 
   in China, Taiwan, and Malaysia)
 * Bong Ljungdahl AB operates in Nordic countries (also the United
   Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, and Russia)
 * Groupe SAS Hamelin is in France (also the United Kingdom, Germany, 
   and Spain)
 * Vigamil S.A.C.e.I in South America
 * King Corporation in Japan
 * E.S. Wigg & Son in Australia

These organizations have worked with one another over time and are now formalizing their relationship. The coalition is uniting in a worldwide initiative to offer customers access to all six companies' proprietary products and services through a consolidated global supply chain. There is increasing demand by purchasers of envelopes and associated products for a simplified and streamlined supplier network to meet their business needs related to mailing, packaging and distribution of information, as well as sales and marketing materials.
