Open Your Minds to the Insights of Meaning: From Science to Transcendence -- Author Dr. Dean Fletcher Davies Explores Fascinating Paradigm Shifts in Life

BRUNSWICK, Maine, Sept. 12, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Can the age-old conflict between science and religion ever be resolved? Will they be willing to meet halfway and reconcile? Unravel the answers in author Dr. Dean Fletcher Davies' provocative book, Meaning: From Science to Transcendence.

This book is filled with fascinating paradigm shifts. To name one, it has the answer to the age-old conflict between science and religion. It shows that the quality of one's life can be quantified. Dr. Davies calls for a paradigm shift in the medical model by adding assessment of transcendent health, since a transcendent experience is more profound and universal than religion itself.

Meaning: From Science to Transcendence explores other areas and gives a new definition of "Truth". It questions "enclosed" belief systems and makes a unique distinction between "I" and "you". It also promotes reason as a fusion of fact and value.
