About the Author

Donald F. Megnin was born in the U.S. but grew up speaking German first and learning English upon going to school. He has spent many years of his adult life conducting research, teaching, traveling and living in Germany over the course of the last fifty years. The author is highly conversant with German history, politics, and customs from his long experience living among Germans.
