Lappland Goldminers AB: Continues drilling indicates more gold at Tjålmträsk - 5 meters with 4.15 gram per ton

Lappland Goldminers AB (publ), listed on First North and the Oslo
Exchange OTC list, has completed the first core drilling stage of
2008 in the Tjålmträsk area. As previously reported in a press
release, visible gold was observed in one of the drill holes.

The Tjålmträsk gold prospecting project is situated along the
so-called Gold Line in Västerbotten, around 5 km south of Sorsele.
The project was initiated a few years back after field work found
strongly gold-mineralized boulders in the area, one of which had
extremely high grades of gold (350 g/t) and many boulders with gold
grades of 1-31 g/t.

The first stage of the 2008 drilling in the Tjålmträsk area was
primarily aimed at investigating the areas surrounding the 2007 core
drill holes TJT200705-TJT200709, reported on in a press release
(April 11,l 2008).

The core drilling in 2008 indicates that the gold mineralization
encountered and intersected with drill holes TJT200705 and TJT200706,
continues both toward east and west, in - among others - drill holes
TJT200803 with 5m of 4.15 g/t Au and TJT200811 with five sections of
gold grades in excess of 1 g/t. The drilling furthermore shows that
there also is gold in the bedrock between the two areas from the 2007
core drilling in Tjålmträsk through the mineralization which was
intersected in TJT200810.

Tjålmträsk is located in a very interesting area, with several good
gold indications. The area is furthermore located close to the
recently acquired Blaikenverket (Blaiken processing plant) with
capacity to refine gold ore. As ore deposits found in this area do
not require great investment cost,
the area is highly interesting from a exploration perspective. The
drilling program completed has continued to show an area with gold,
which gives us reason to further invest in exploration for ore
for the Blaiken processing plant, says Karl-Åke Johansson.
