Rules of OMX Nordic Exchange for covered warrants and certificates
As announced on 6 May 2008 OMX Nordic Exchange Copenhagen will launch new
submarkets for covered warrants and certificates on 29 September 2008. In this
connection OMX Nordic Exchange has prepared a set of rules for covered warrants
and certificates, which will enter into force in Denmark on 29 September 2008.
Corresponding rules will enter into force in Sweden on 1 October 2008 and in
Finland as soon as possible hereafter.
The rules are prepared in cooperation with the exchanges in Stockholm and
Helsinki, where well functioning markets for covered warrants and certificates
have existed for at number of years. The rulebook is composed so that the
contents to a large extent resembles the existing rules in Stockholm, though the
structure is somewhat changed.
The rules contain a number of requirements of the issuer, the instruments, the
underlying asset and a general disclosure requirement. Thus, the rules consist
of the following sections:
Chapter 1 Introduction
Chapter 2 Issuer requirements
Chapter 3 Requirements for covered warrants
Chapter 4 Disclosure requirement
Chapter 5 Suitability
Chapter 6 Listing fees
Chapter 7 Sanctions
The rules will enter into force in connection with the launch of the submarkets
for covered warrants and certificates on 29 September 2008 and are published in
a Danish and an English version on the exchange's website:
