What: Pham Gia Khiem, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Socialist Republic, will preside over the Closing Bell in honor of UN General Assembly Week in New York. Joining DPM Pham Gia Khiem will be NASDAQ OMX officials: Bob Greifeld Chief Executive Officer, NASDAQ OMX Group Inc. Magnus Bocker President, NASDAQ OMX Group Inc. Prior to the closing bell, representatives from NASDAQ OMX and representatives from the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to formalize the relationship between the two markets. Under the agreement, NASDAQ OMX and the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange will explore areas of collaboration with the intent to support development of the Vietnamese securities market. Such areas of collaboration may include advisory services for technology infrastructure, financial products cooperation and joint marketing efforts, with the common objective of strengthening the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange.
