RAUTE CORPORATION STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 23 September 2008 at 9.00 am RAUTE'S NET SALES AND PROFIT DEVELOPMENT IN 2008 WILL NOT REACH TARGETS Raute's net sales for 2008 are estimated to remain on or slightly under the level of 2007. This is due to the postponement of the decision making of projects in the negotiation phase from the earlier estimation. The postponement is evaluated to result from schedule changes typical of project business and from the uncertain general economic situation. The positive profit development of the earlier estimation for 2008 will not be reached. The profit outlook is weakened by the lower than estimated level of net sales. Raute Corporation's interim report for January - September will be published on Tuesday 28 October, 2008.
