The new location will be in Madrid, Spain, with the plan to expand operations to other European countries, including the emerging Eastern European region.
inVentiv Clinical's European operations will be led by Fernando Martinez, PhD, MBA, recently appointed as Director, Clinical Operations, Europe, for inVentiv Clinical. Dr. Martinez is responsible for building inVentiv Clinical's European presence and client base. He is also responsible for oversight of all European projects conducted by inVentiv Clinical.
Dr. Martinez brings with him expertise from both operations and business development roles in top international CROs. Dr. Martinez received his Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Bristol, England and his MBA from the University of Madrid, Spain.
