Advanced Vision Technology adjusts revenues and earnings guidance for 2008
due to shortfall in North American and European markets

Advanced Vision Technology (AVT) expects to fall short of its Group
revenues and earnings guidance for 2008. Revenues for 2008 are projected to
be in the range of $ 60 million to $ 62 million, due to anticipated
weakness in the North American and European markets in which the Company
operates. Forecast at the beginning of 2008 was $68 million to $71 million.
Revised Gross Margin for 2008 is projected in the range of 54% - 55%
compared with 57% previously projected. EBITDA (excluding GMI integration
costs) for the year is now projected to be at 3.5% – 6%, down from 10%
previously projected.

After a good performance in the first half year, the situation in August
and September indicates that the demand, in the second half of 2008, will
be below expectations due to the deteriorating general market conditions.
Throughout 2008 AVT has experienced weak market conditions in the US, while
the good performance in the European markets in the first half of 2008 more
than compensated for this weakness. During the 3rd quarter European market
conditions have deteriorated quickly. AVT’s management does not foresee
significant improvement within the next 6 – 12 months. Nevertheless the
management believes in the Company's long-term growth prospects and
financial performance, when economic condition will improve.
