Release of a Voting Rights announcement

On September 25, 2008, Morgan Stanley, Wilmington (Delaware), USA, has
informed us according to sec. 21 para. 1 of the WpHG that via shares its
Voting Rights on Praktiker Bau- und Heimwerkermärkte Holding AG, Kirkel,
Germany, ISIN: DE000A0F6MD5, WKN: A0F6MD, have exceeded the 3% limit of the
Voting Rights on September 18, 2008, and now amount to 3.13% (this
corresponds to 1,815,349 Voting Rights).
According to sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 No. 1 of the WpHG, 3.13% of the Voting
Rights (this corresponds to 1,815,349 Voting Rights) are to be attributed
to the company.
